Who doesn’t love some good ole wedding inspiration goodness whether you’re preparing for your nuptials or not? I know I do. For those of you who follow me on Pinterest (if you don’t, you should!) know that I have a huge board of wedding inspiration. I’ve done the deed already and said my I do’s and don’t plan to do it again in this lifetime but I had an incredibly swell time planning my own wedding and found putting together inspiration boards incredibly helpful (especially for a visually inclined gal like me)! So when my friends over at Minted announced a new inspiration board challenge with prizes up to $4,000, I had to jump in (face-first)! As irony would have it, this board is super similar to my own barn wedding (sans the super cute bow-toe adorned Boston Terrier). Do you love it? Here starts the beginning of my brand new blogging adventure! Hope you’ll come along for the ride. This photo of me is from my wedding! Why not start there right? I wed on a very happy day on August 4th, 2012 (wow, I can’t believe it’s been 8 months already!!) in the same tiny chapel that my parents were married in Ithaca, NY and we danced the night away at a lovely barn reception. A dream come true for me! It marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life so it seems appropriate to start this new blog with a photo from that day. I wore this beautiful lace dress by David’s Bridal (the most vintage looking dress I could find without actually buying vintage!) and I wore a real flower in my hair (I wish I could remember the name!). Like you hear over and over, my story is the same. It was the very first dress I tried on and I just knew it was the one. I didn’t buy it right away though. The day after I tried it on, my mom and I left for a trip to Italy. Over the 10 days I was vacationing, I couldn’t stop thinking and dreaming about it! So when I got back home, one of the first things I did was go buy that dress!
