hark! i can no longer say that its notquitespringyet weather, because, though I retardedly rolled out of my house in a coat and tights, it was almost 80 degrees in ny on this day! (yes, kids it’s true.) i can hardly believe it myself, but i can’t begin to express how good it felt to feel to feel warmth all around me. woot! for sunglasses weather! Had to break out these adorbz round oversized sunnies for a day such as this! hooray for that! and while i’m at it, hooray for such a dope (yes, i said dope) painted wall in my backyard with cool texture and rusty paint color for which a neighbor so nicely provides me with for which I have found a new wonderous picture snapping environment to explore when time just doesn’t allow for shooting on the street or surrounded by nature. With all this talk of warm weather and backyards, I’m getting hungry right now just thinking about bbq season! Mmmm.
p.s. though I adore the warm spring sun on my shoulders…Lord knows i’ve been waiting, i just can’t seem to let go of my tights. I’m just not there yet.
p.p.s forgive the ugly wrinkles…when I said time just didn’t allow for shooting elsewhere…translation: I had been sitting in this outfit all day before I shot these…oopsydoops.
Today’s side dish of papery goodness comes to you today from Paper & Stitch. Her quirky and awesome letterpress business cards kind of match the geometric pattern in my shorts, no? I’m a sucker for a good pattern but I have an even bigger weakness for unique typography, especially when put to use on something like a business card which often fall amongst a sea of boring and mundane design. And the fact that they’re letterpress…bonus points for extra awesomeness!
